PLATTSBURGH WINS IN OT 3-2 Will face Norwich in National D-III Semis

CINDERELLA WEARS THE SLIPPER ST. JAY DEFEATS RUTLAND GIRLS IN D-I FINALS
The St Johnsbury Hilltoppers girls basketball team did the unheard of tonight and became the first 12th seeded team ever to win a D-I girl's hoop crown. The kids from St. Jay controlled the boards in the second half and held the Rutland Raiders to only 6 points in that half of play. IT's BURLINGTON AND ESSEX IN D-I
Mt. Anthony Union High Schools Clayton Palmer (54) goes up for 2 of his 14 points last night in the boys D-I semis held at UVM's Patrick Gym. The Patriots had a great second half of play behind Palmer's strong effort but it was not enough at the Seahorses of Burlington topped the Pats 51-46 to reach the finals against Essex. MVU WINS FIRST EVER HOCKEY TITLE
Missisquoi's 1st line defensive brothers Dylan (16) and Caleb Lothian (7) do a great job of protecting goalie Brian Fortin during the third period of the Thunderbirds huge D-II title game win over Stowe at UVM's Gutterson Fieldhouse in Burlington. State Nordic Freestyle
Brattleboro's Halie Lange (#65) charges up the first hill in the State Nordic Freestyle race held at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center on Monday. Lange finished third in the Division I race.
